Helsingin seudun & yliopiston Maan ystävät järjestää talkooretken Lassilan luomutilalle Tuusulaan sunnuntaina 31.5.! Tilalla toimii kumppanuusmaatalousosuuskunta Oma Maa, joka pyrkii muuttamaan ruokajärjestelmää kestävämmäksi ja oikeudenmukaisemmaksi. Helsingin seudun Maan ystävät on Oma Maan osakas.
Päivän ohjelma:
- klo 10 talkoot (fyysistä työtä pellolla, kasvihuoneella yms.)
- klo 13 lounas
- klo 14 tilakierros ja Oma Maan esittely halukkaille (ja lisää talkoilua muille)
- klo 16 talkoot päättyvät, sitten voi esim. ihmetellä lintuja ja perhosia, käydä uimassa tms.
Kyydit: joko pyörällä + junalla (n. 7 km Järvenpään asemalta lähtö Pasilan asemalta vähän aamuyhdeksän jälkeen, vaatii ABCD-lipun) tai autokyydillä (lähtö Käpylästä n. 9.30)
Mukaan: säänmukaiset talkoovaatteet, työhanskat (jos on), vesipullo, aurinkorasvaa
Ilmoittautuminen: ilmoittaudu sähköpostitse lauantaihin 30.5. kello 12 mennessä ja kerro, mikä kulkutapa kiinnostaa eniten: helsinki [at] maanystavat.fi (huom. jos tarvitset kyydin, on parempi ilmoittautua hyvissä ajoin!) Ilmoitathan samalla puhelinnumerosi ja mahdolliset ruoka-ainerajoitteesi.

Friends of the Earth Helsinki Region & University is going co-working on the Lassila organic farm on Sunday the 31st of May! The community-supported agriculture (CSA) cooperative Oma Maa is operating on the farm, and strives to change the food system into something more sustainable and just. Friends of the Earth Helsinki is a shareholder of the cooperative.
Programme:
- 10 A.M. doing physical work together in the field, in the greenhouse etc.
- 1 P.M. lunch
- 2 P.M. a tour of the farm and an introduction to Oma Maa to newcomers (more work for others)
- 4 P.M. finishing time, after that one can admire birds and butterflies, go for a swim or such
Getting there: either by bike + train (about 7 km by bike from the Järvenpää station, departure from the Pasila station around 9 A.M., requires ABCD ticket) or by car ride from Helsinki (from Käpylä around 9.30 A.M.)
Take with you: working clothes according to the weather, working gloves (if possible), a water bottle, sunscreen
Signing up: sign up by e-mail by Saturday the 30th of May at noon and do mention which transport you prefer: helsinki [at] maanystavat.fi (NB! if you need a ride from Helsinki, it's better to sign up well in advance!) Please also provide your phone number and any food restrictions you may have.
